Is that Another Bench I See???

Cute bench right??  I thought so too. The finish wasn't in great condition with some scratches and dings but the bones were in perfect condition.  I didn't have to whip out the nail gun or anything!

Oh, and let me show you the best part...

It has STORAGE!  As a mother this is crucial to survival/sanity.

As I mentioned before, my sister is in town visiting.  I was thinking I would just do the entire thing in white and make it shabby.  My sis suggested, in all her brilliancy, to paint the little details and front panel in a really pale (I totally just had to google if it is "pail" or "pale"... blonde moment) green.  I LOVE this suggestion!  What do you think?

And don't forget about the extra storage!

So, that is the second bench I have attempted and I have to say, I am very happy with it!  THey might be my new thing... look out chairs, I am replacing you with benches!  Good call on the green Shena.

  3. Yep, I think all the chair are in trouble if you whip up any more cute benches like this. I love the pale/pail(?) color scheme you chose. It turned out just adorable and storage to boot!!
