Today's photo challenge over at Merchantile Muse was "Dark of Night." Since I am an 80 year old woman, stuck in a 28 year old's body I am usually in bed by dark. You think I'm kidding... I'm not. So, I decided to not take this challenge so literally. Why not participate with yet another fabulous piece of black furniture! My mom scored this little cupboard at a garage sale last week:
The size, shape and sweet hardware were perfect but, I didn't love the color. So why not just change it. I love a country looking black piece of furniture. It is classic and beautiful. See:
But, then, you open it up and that chic country cupboard has a surprise on the inside. I also love a good surprise:)
So there you have it, "Dark of Night... with a twist."
